Kesher
Another club, the same week

See how Kesher works — for a cycling club

Saddle Creek Cycling Club is a demonstration club — every member, ride and figure below is invented. What follows is a real week: the route goes up, riders RSVP by pace group, the Saturday ride lands on a phone, and the treasurer knows who has paid into the kit fund.

Wednesday · a ride lead posts Saturday's route

Plan the ride. Know who's coming — and at what pace.

A ride lead adds Saturday's route with a link to the GPX file and two pace groups. Riders RSVP from their phone, so by Friday the club has a real headcount instead of a WhatsApp thread full of "in!" and thumbs-up.

What a member opens on their phone

One ride, two paces

An A-group and a no-drop group RSVP separately, so nobody signs up for a pace they can't hold.

The route travels with the ride

A GPX or Strava link sits right on the invite, not buried three messages back in a chat.

Meetings and centuries too

The monthly meeting and the fall century sit on the same calendar as the Saturday ride.

Saturday, 6:45 AM · the route goes out

The one thing your WhatsApp group did well, done properly

The ride lead posts the actual route at a quarter to seven. It arrives as a notification, and — unlike a WhatsApp message — it is still findable in October when somebody wants to remember which climb that was.

A notification, and the post that stays

It does not scroll away

Announcements stay on their own screen. Nobody scrolls past two hundred messages to find the one that mattered.

A route change looks urgent

It is marked as one, so it does not read like just another group message.

The group chat can stay a group chat

Kesher is where the club is organised. The jokes and the memes can stay exactly where they are.

Any evening · the treasurer opens the books

Stop managing the kit fund in a spreadsheet

Who has paid dues, what the club spent on the new jerseys, and who is owed back for the post-ride coffee — in one place, kept by whoever holds the treasurer's role and nobody else.

The treasurer's view. Members see only their own.

A ledger, not a memory

Who paid, when, and by what method — so the question never needs asking twice.

Receipts attached

Money fronted for the club is recorded against the person owed it.

Only the treasurer

Roles are separate: keeping the books does not come with approving members.

Whenever somebody new turns up

Your club roster, always current

Who rides what pace, since when, and how to reach them — visible to the club and to nobody else. A rider asking to join arrives as a request an officer approves, not a DM somebody forgets to answer.

Fourteen riders, six makes of bike

Officers get only their job

President, ride captain, treasurer, secretary — each role unlocks its own work.

Members control their details

Anyone can keep their contact details from the rest of the club. Officers can still reach them.

Nobody outside sees it

Not another club, not an alliance, not us.

Before a new member's first ride

The waiver nobody remembers until it matters

Cycling in traffic carries real risk, and most clubs know they should hold a signed waiver from every rider; most have one somewhere in a shared drive, signed by some of them, in a version nobody can date. That gap is widest for the people most exposed — ride leads and route captains, who take on responsibility the rest of the group does not.

Step 2 of 2
One last thing
Saddle Creek Cycling Club requires this before you can join
Member waiver, release of liability, and assumption of risk
In consideration of being permitted to participate in rides, events, and activities organised by Saddle Creek Cycling Club, I agree to the following.
Assumption of risk. I understand cycling on open roads and in a group involves inherent risks…
☐ I have read and agree to the waiver above

Signed once, on joining — not chased afterwards

Ride leads sign their own

Leading a ride carries more than riding in one. Assign somebody the role and their acknowledgement is asked for automatically — the club does not have to remember.

The exact words are kept

What a member agreed to is stored as they saw it, with the date and the version. Not a link to a document that has since been edited.

An officer can see who has not

A roster column, not an archaeology project through an email account.

Kesher provides the waiver templates and the record. It does not provide legal advice, and a waiver is not insurance. Releases of liability are governed by state law and are limited or unenforceable in some states, so a club should have its own lawyer read what it adopts — particularly before relying on it.

The honest part

What this demonstration is, and is not

Saddle Creek Cycling Club does not exist. Every name, ride, photograph caption and dollar figure above was invented for this page, so that showing how Kesher works never means putting a real club's roster or a real member's details on the internet. The screens are the product's own markup at the size a phone renders it, not photographs — so they cannot quietly go out of date.
